Founder/Owner operator
Welcome and thank you for taking a look around my website!
Equine Inspirations facilitator training was created with key objectives in mind.
To deliver a training platform that is based on experiential learning for facilitators.
That promotes a culture of professionalism, ethical work practices, and client-focused sessions or activities.
Incorporating sessions that address the right type of horse for sessions and retiring horses when they are no longer a fit for sessions.
Supporting facilitators and business owners in the initial stages of setting up their business.
Having implemented equine-assisted/ equine Psychotherapy learning sessions myself, I wanted to design and develop training that looks at working with a variety of different clients and client groups.
Incorporating an experiential learning framework so learners can dive straight into what we are going to be delivering to clients.
I know for me, I just wanted to get down to the grassroots. “How do I actually run equine-assisted or equine psychotherapy sessions?
After a lot of fine-tuning, I believe I have a training program that addresses just that running your own sessions and getting your business underway.
I think the number one rule is to make sure that you have a plan in place, with a very simple training model What Where, and Why.
As facilitators or support workers, equine assistant coaches, and equine psychotherapists, I believe it’s our responsibility to be accountable for how a session ends and what might open up for the client or group.
Sure at times, there are activities that just evolve and a very much client-driven and that's what we often look for. However, the flip side to that is when you are setting up an activity for a particular outcome, you really want to know what you are doing and why. As many variable outcomes are possible for the participants. I have seen a lot of people open the door, and they say “Oh times up see you next week". This work fine with general activities but not the activities that are addressing those finer self-development areas such as self-confidence, anxiety or self-regulation.
Facilitator training sessions ran by Equine Inspirations will equip learners to feel confident to offer and deliver a high standard of equine-assisted learning or equine Psychotherapy sessions". right horse for the particular activity and client. At times the horses match themselves to the client!

Horses dont lie they are reactive and wanting connection.
Horse let us know if we are to much or to little, or just right.

Its hard to dispute what the horse is telling us about ourselves.
